My Rose Dream quilt is now finished! I had a lot of fun with this quilt first by cutting it out with my new Sizzix Pro cutting machine and secondly because I decided to pop it on the long arm and have a go at free motion quilting it. The free motion quilting was so much fun that I decided that there needs to be a lot more of this going on in the future!! I've signed up for Angela Walters "Freemotion Feathers" class on Craftsy and have been drawing feathers on paper over the last few days. I can't wait to try them out on an actual quilt! All in good time...
very pretty little quilt
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful. I'd love a sizzix pro, one day. Free motion on my long arm is probably my favourite thing in the world.

ReplyDeleteIt's a gorgeous quilt! Those blocks are so interesting and congrats on your FMQ - woop! I'm impressed by your practise for your class too!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love pink, but I'm often at a loss for original ways to use it. These colors are delicious! I love most of your color palettes, actually—I found my way here from The Elven Garden. I can't decide which I like better, the + and x or the Steampunk.
ReplyDeleteWould you be interested in posting some of your work to Kollabora, the crafting community? Some of us are into quilting lately and have been exchanging sources of inspiration.
