A Garden Fence Finish!

Oh, can I tell you how hard it is for me to photograph my quilts? This new set up in my garage is helping, but this King size quilt could possibly be one of the largest quilts I've ever made!  If you know me, then you know that I tend to get a bit carried away with what I do and I can't stop myself from going bigger rather than smaller.  I will make smaller quilts in future, I promise!  My plan at this moment in time is to retake photos of all my quilts that I have in the house so that I have a better record of my work.  That means I will be posting pictures of quilts you may have already seen, but also of ones you might not have seen as well.  I have a few that have been sitting ready to photograph, but no way of hanging them up or lack of light and space to do it properly!

This quilt is my Garden Fence quilt using predominantly lavender and orange fabrics.  I think I may have had an obsession with orange over the last year or two as when I look at the quilts I've made and my stash there seems to be orange everywhere!!!  Haha!  I'm constantly changing my tastes, so you just never know what I will put together next:)

You can find the tutorial to make the Garden Fence quilt here.

Look I just got up and this is what I see.....another beautiful finish from you. But you see I was just looking at your other just finished before I went to bed???? Seriously I need to drink whatever you are having! It is awesome and I love the different fabrics together. Your quilts are always great you have the touch!

This quilt has great appeal and it will have great appeal in another decade... plenty to see.... I am all for bigger rather than smaller. I like to tuck my toes in a quilt - not have them stick out the bottom. Quilts on the wall will also pass and then there will be thousands of quilts for sale on ebay or some such.
