Lady of the Lake Quilt

This is a quilt that I started a LONG time ago.  I finally finished sewing down the last bit of binding on it--it was also one of the first quilts that I quilted on my longarm.  It feels so good to be finished with this quilt and send it off to its new owner in the States.  I think the block design is called Lady of the Lake, but I'm not sure.  I think a true Lady of the Lake would have the flying geese all the way around instead of just on two sides???

It's a beautiful quilt! I'll just bet it feels quite good to have it competed after stuch a long time. Now rather than playing on your concience, it's either keeping someone warm or just lying around looking beautiful.

Love the colours!
The actual Lady in the Lake block does have flyng geese on all sides, but you can say this is a variation.

A finish is a finish. I love getting back to something I started awhile ago, most of the work is already done!
