Little Houses and a Happy New Year!

Happy New Year and welcome 2009! I hope this is going to be a good year for everyone. I'm feeling hopeful about this year... New baby and a new focus and hopefully I can keep the trigeminal nueralgia under control.

I thought I would post to show you what I was working on. This quilt is one I drafted myself, although I'm sure it's probably not an original. I'm using fabrics from Joanna Figuora's Urban Indigo line by Moda. I've had this sitting in my stash waiting to be put together for at least 6 months now and I thought I better put it together finally before I forget what I was going to do with it! I've still got two more rows of blocks to make before I can piece the blocks together for a twin size 62"x84" without the borders. Hopefully I can finish this one soon!

Good Morning> It's Friday morning in Canada. You are about 12-14 hrs ahead of us in the winter hours.
Our son lived in Melbourne for 4 years and I used to forget the hour difference for so long that it is now embedded in my brain the time difference.
Your quilt top is very pretty. I am just going to decide to order from Moda for the first time. I will have a hard time deciding which jelly roll to order I'm sure, so many choices....so little money...have a great day..
