Rose Dream Quilt Top

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a Sizzix cutting machine and have had little time to actually test it out.  Yesterday, I just could not wait one more minute and decided to try out the "Rose Dream" die to cut up the blocks for the quilt you seen shown above.  Wow, can I tell you that I am extremely impressed with the speed with which one can cut up fabric using a good cutting machine?  This Rose Dream block comes with the pieces to piece the above block, plus includes an extra Drunkard's Path block as well.  What I love about this in particular is not only do the pieces come cut perfectly, but they come out notched so that lining up and pinning is a breeze.  Four blocks together (one X) measures 12 inches finished, so you can see that this quilt top measures 48" x 60". Not bad for a day's quilting effort!

I'm now looking forward to cutting more with my new Sizzix and doing some more testing!

I need to check this cutting machine out. I hate the cutting part. Your quilt is lovely, the colours are beautiful.
