Ok, now is the time to probably admit that I stayed up late on Sunday night making this Sew Retro Utensil block. I was in the mood to sew and listen to the rest of my book on audio so I just kept sewing! I decided to tackle the Utensils block next as it's one of the more intricate of all the blocks. If you haven't read my previous blog post you can find the pattern from Kristy here.
I also went back and fixed the Retro Clock block as it was driving me crazy that I missed a bit of the white piece in the center. It turned out that it was only a five minute job to fix it as all I had to do was unpick a few seams in the center--easy peasy and I am so much happier with it now.
I think I will tackle the kettle next before getting stuck into the stove which looks quite intricate... Too bad I have so much other work to catch up on first!
