Scrappy Trip Along Finish!

Today I worked on finishing sewing down the binding on my Scrappy Trip Along quilt, which was inspired by Instagram and Flickr group along.  If you haven't joined in yet and would like to make one of these quilts you can find Bonnie's tutorial here.  I have to mention that the technique of pressing the seam in opposite directions works very well.  Also, I would like to mention here that I am not a fan of unpicking seams, so I actually ripped mine apart with no trouble whatsoever.  Ha!  I use Superior's Masterpiece 100% cotton for all my piecing work so it was no trouble.  Superior is hands down my favorite thread to work with and I am not sponsored nor do I sell it.  It's an honest opinion.  I started out as a Guterman user, moved on to Aurifil, then moved on to Rasant and now I'm a solid Superior fan...

Love this quilt! The quilting design is perfect! Might have to copy it for a postage stamp quilt I'm working on.

Looks gorgeous. For some reason I sew scrappy quilts. Faster than quikts with karge blocjs.
