Whew, I finished sewing this quilt top together yesterday. It took me a while to sew all the rows together, it's 100 inches square, so I'm guessing that is at least a king size! I do love this color combination too. Anyway, I will put this top away now until I have my longarm to finish it in about 3+ months. Anyone have any ideas on how to quilt this one? I will probably do an all over pattern, but I'm wondering what sort of style would suit this one. All suggestions are appreciated:)

You can buy templates that you just trace around with your needle on the longarm. I'm using one right now - some kind of swirl for the centers and doing like loops for around it. I think that would look kinda neat on yours! I'll be taking a picture this weekend and posting it on the blog, so if you want to see what I'm talking about exactly, make sure to check it out!

This is absolutely gorgeous. I wasn't sure if you needed sashing - but it really compliments the design. I really like how you mixed so many different prints together and still had a cohesive theme/feel. I am starting to do the same thing of making quilts very big - bigger than I planned at first.

As usual another beautiful quilt you have made! What about something with a swirl or open flower design that would compliment the fabric & soften the squares? If you are doing edge to edge.
I believe you will have lots to practice on when September comes around with all the quilts you are finishing up. I always feel so good when I complete UFOs.
