I hope you and your family enjoyed the day!Mama Sparkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03124372688717255658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7932750381169536137.post-5455460576722565502012-12-24T00:36:17.395+11:002012-12-24T00:36:17.395+11:00I love hearing about other family traditions, and ...I love hearing about other family traditions, and living somewhere that we occasionally get a white Christmas, I wondered if many of the symbols (reindeer, sleigh, snowflakes) are different in a country that has Christmas in the summer. My sister started the tradition of having gifts to and from us all under the tree ahead of time, but on Christmas morning Santa would have set in front of the tree one unwrapped gift for each child. It left them believe in Santa - for a while at least - without confusing all of the other shopping. Enjoy your warm and peaceful holiday!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7932750381169536137.post-73888804183450438422012-12-24T00:25:34.168+11:002012-12-24T00:25:34.168+11:00Enjoyed hearing about your family Christmas tradit...Enjoyed hearing about your family Christmas traditions and how it feels to a northerner to have a summer Christmas. My Mum used to say she wished Christmas was in the middle of winter like England and the USA and just a short break, rather than the real shutdown of the year it is here. I kinda wish we had a week break now, then had our summer holidays through late Jan and Feb when it's REALLY hot here in SA. Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16902931991446033427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7932750381169536137.post-40919059131309934972012-12-23T22:42:20.963+11:002012-12-23T22:42:20.963+11:00Merry Christmas Jeannette!!
